To improve the Spokane job market and increase job opportunities, I will:

    Foster a supportive environment for entrepreneurship and innovation by teaming with business and education leaders to develop resources such as startup incubators, mentorship programs, and funding opportunities for new business. Result: new job creation opportunities; attract talent to our region.

    Strengthen partnerships between universities and local businesses by encouraging our educational institutions to more fully collaborate with local businesses on internship programs and other work experience opportunities for area students.  Result: tailor academic programs to better provide graduate skills enabling local business to thrive.

Advocate for infrastructure investment. Result: Investments in a cohesive transportation network, including public transportation, bike lanes, and pedestrian walkways, will make Spokane more accessible, livable, and attractive to businesses and workers.
